EZ Expense ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our application. By using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
- Personal Data: The App does not require registration or collect any personally identifiable information (PII). All data you input (transactions, categories, accounts) is stored locally on your device and, if you choose, synchronized via your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your data.
- iCloud Synchronization: If you enable iCloud backup (Premium feature), your data is stored in your private iCloud account. This allows you to back up and restore your data. At no time does the App transmit this data beyond your iCloud account unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.
- In-App Purchases: Premium purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store any payment information. Apple handles all transaction processing according to their privacy policy.
Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. The only external service used is Apple's StoreKit for processing in-app purchases, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
Data Security
We prioritize the security of your data. All information is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, in your personal iCloud account. We do not transmit or store your data on our servers. Your financial data never leaves your control.
Data Export
Premium users can export their transaction data to CSV format. This export is performed locally on your device, and you have full control over how you share or store the exported file.
